Using IR heat means the Zenos range is exceptionally good at delivering heat direct to you quickly and safely, helping you to feel warm and comfortable quicker than you might with a traditional convection heater.

These heaters are constructed from high quality aluminium, and feature whole piece ceramic insulation, meaning they’re more durable and reliable compared to other IR heaters on the market.

With an IP44 rating, this heater is protected from splashes of water. For a heater that can be safely used in more open outdoor spaces with minimal shelter, the Athena range might be a better option.

Choosing The Right Heater

As you can see from this page, there are loads of models to choose from in this range. Making sure you choose the right one for your space is key to getting the most out of infrared heat.

The first, and most important, decision you’ll have to make is which size you want. This will determine how much space your heater takes up, but more crucially it will determine how many watts your heater uses.

That wattage is crucial. If you use too many in your space, you’ll be wasting loads of power. But if you don’t have enough, you’ll never feel warm enough.

You can calculate how many watts you’ll need to keep a space warm through our calculator. Just plug in your room dimensions as well as how well-insulated it is. You can use one big heater for simplicity, or split this wattage between multiple heaters for wider coverage.

Why Wi-Fi?

After you’ve chosen which power level you’d like you have a second choice to make. That’s whether or not you’d like our standard or our Wi-Fi model.

The standard model is great if you want to keep things simple. This heater can be switched on or off, with no other decisions needed. They’re also a better option if you already have an electric thermostat system in your home ready to use.

If you want a bit more control, or a heater which can be automated, then the Wi-Fi model is ideal. This lets you set timers on an hourly or weekly schedule, turn your heater on and off, and adjust your target temperature, all through your phone when it’s paired to the Smart Life app. It doesn’t matter where you are, you can control your heating as long as you have an internet connection.

All those features can also be managed through the included remote control, so you don’t need to keep a charged phone on you at all times.

Included with our Mirrorstone infrared bar heaters is an excellent 14-day home trial period, so you could either return or exchange it, if you change your mind.
